BONFIRE - Friday June 6, 7:30 p.m. :  An opportunity to share and hang out with one another will take place during our bonfire at the home of Sharon Hess.  Bring a lawn chair, a friend and a snack to share.  This will kick off our summer events.  For directions or questions, call the church office.

THURSDAY SUMMER ACTIVITIES: Are you looking for something to do during the summer months that allow you to have fun with other ladies and your children, all at the same time?  Each Thursday we have planned a weekly activity, giving you one less idea to come up with on your own!  The events will vary in cost and driving time, and will include such things as going to a nearby state park for the day, to the zoo and other family-friendly outings.  There is no need to sign-up, just show up ready for a good time.  You may opt to join us every Thursday or just a few that work with your schedule or interest you or your kids.  Any age is welcome, and even if you don’t have children…please come!  You may pick up a list of the activities at church on Sunday, or watch the bulletin.

Beth Moore Simulcast Conference Friday & Saturday, August 1st & 2nd: Who knew Bible study and worship could be so much fun! Beth Moore’s life-transforming Bible study challenges and inspires women of every age, everywhere. Joining Beth at this weekend event is acclaimed worship leader Travis Cottrell and the Praise Team. Beth's focus will be on the Scripture that God lays on her heart for each individual Living Proof Live event — no two are the same. As she explores the Bible and how it applies to real life, you'll be amazed by her own experiences as a believer, and you'll be inspired to magnify and strengthen your own relationship with God.

Beth's mission is to guide women everywhere into a richer, more fulfilling relationship with the Father. She is a woman of purpose, preparation, prayer and passion. It's apparent in everything she does, from teaching Sunday School at her home church to sharing her biblical insights and observations in her Bible studies and books.

Each Living Proof Live event is scheduled for Friday, 7:00 - 9:30 p.m., and Saturday, 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. ( Louisville , KY , times vary due to simulcast). Bring your friends and we’ll see you at Living Proof Live — a fun-filled Bible study, teaching, and worship experience to enrich your mind, soul, and spirit!

A group of ladies from Oak Harbor U.B. church will be attending the simulcast at the First Missionary Church in Berne, IN.  Berne is a Swiss community located one hour south of Ft. Wayne, and is approximately 10 miles from the Ohio/Indiana border.  The tickets are $30 for the conference, and lodging at a clean, comfortable retreat center will be a maximum of $15.  We will travel in vans and share the cost of gas.  There will be at least 2 meals you will need to purchase during the trip.  Tickets and lodging will need to be paid for by June 1 to secure your spot.  Additional tickets may be purchased after June 1, if they are available.  These events tend to sell out quickly, so don’t miss your chance to grow in your relationship with God and build friendships with one another!  We are sure to make memories as we attend the conference and connect at the retreat center.  If you are a recent high school graduate, a grandmother, single, married, or a mom, this is for YOU!  So come...and bring a friend, if you'd like!  For more information or to register contact the church.

H2O:  This is the name of the Bible study offered for women on Wednesday mornings and evenings each week.  We have finished our study on The Patriarchs by Beth Moore and were challenged in our spiritual walks.  Not only is our time together meaningful to our relationships with God, but it has been an incredible time of building caring relationships and friendships with one another.  Small group discussions facilitate the learning we do through our individual Bible study during the week, as well as provide an opportunity to talk about the content of the video we have watched together.  We are able to pray for one another and serve one another as we get to know each other.  It is a rich time for those who participate.  We invite you to join us for our next Bible study as we begin Stepping Up:  A Journey through the Psalms of Ascent, by Beth Moore.  We will begin this study in the fall, so watch for more details!
